I was lucky enough to not only be hired as a coordinator but to help with some decor and floral elements for this wedding. I just loved sitting down with Natalie and Erin (her soon to be sister-in-law at the time, aka mastermind of Elm Style and Design) and talking shop. Natalie’s theme was “farmers market” therefore there was lots of talk of fruit, baskets, eclectic glassware, and fun fresh florals. Her day came together beautifully. Enjoy

…What a great group of bridesmaids. These girls were o so fabulous and helpful. They also stayed in those 6-inch heels all night long!

Gummy bear champagne is the new drink you must try!

All you need is some champagne flutes… a bottle of delicious champagne… and a bag or tub of gummy bears!

It is up to you how many or what flavors you want to drop in! Not only does this drink taste amazing but it looks beautiful as well.

The best part is once you are done with your glass you get to eat those yummy gummies!

Alli had a hair station in our booth where brides could sit down and try out some bridal hair looks while sitting back and flipping through some bridal magazines and chat with me about their wedding details.

“Large hurricane vases containing floating candles are placed like so many beacons on either side of a path strewn with rose petals in shades of pink and yellow. If you’re picking from your own garden, pluck them early in the morning, when roses are their freshest.”

It would obviously save you the most money to grow the roses yourself (probably not the best idea unless you have a green thumb or can handle the stress). It could even be a great duty to give to someone who wants to help out with your wedding…offer to pay for the seeds or rose bush if they will care for it for you. However, if either of these options scare you or make you nervous then order the petals from a florist. You will end up still saving money because rose petals are cheeper to get than a full rose stem because they don’t have to be as in good shape especially since you will be walking on them. Also since you are doing the decoration/ setting up yourself it could cut down the price a bit more too.

How absolutely beautiful is this aisle?! I think it would be perfect for a winding aisle through a garden or forest setting. Ahhhhhhhh how I am looking forward to the spring weddings to come!
